A Ghanaian man who has returned to the country from Switzerland to complete a building project with his wife has unfortunately died.
The man, identified as Charles Kwakye, was reportedly killed in an armed robbery attack at Amanful in the Western region.
According to reports, Kwakye, 61, had returned to the country with his wife to complete their building project.
He and his wife had reportedly gone out to purchase some items for their building site when they were ambushed by robbers on motorbikes.
The armed robbers reportedly tried snatching their travelling bag containing an amount of GHC12,700 and some foreign currencies. The man struggled with them which led to one of them shooting him in the chest.
He was rushed to the hospital but did not survive. His wife also sustained some wounds but reportedly pulled through safely.
In a situation like this, Ghanaians would say the man’s ‘family witches’ finally grabbed him after returning to the country.
