Flt. Lt. Rawlings, who was to be buried last year will now be buried on Wednesday, January 27, 2021.
His final funeral rites will be held at the Independence Square in Accra from 9:00 am to 11:00am, a note from the Ministry of Foreign Affiars and Regional Integration sent to Diplomatic Missions, International Organizations and Honorary Consulates revealed.
The mortal remains of Rawlings will be laid in state from 24th to 26th January 2021 at the Foyer of the Accra International Conference Centre from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm daily.
A mass will be held on 26th January at the Holy Spirit Cathedral in Accra from 9:00am to 11:00 am.
