Hon. Ekow Quansah Hayford, the late member of Parliament for the Mfanteman Constituency, was laid to rest yesterday on the Kessim School Astro Turf at Mankessim.
He was shot dead on the 9th of October, 2020 by an alleged Armed Robbers whiles returning from a campaign program at late Night. Hon. Ekow’s death dealt a big blow to many given that he was very generous and the sole breadwinner to many families in the Mfantseman
The funeral was graced by many dignitaries and prominent figures from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) including the President, Nana Akufo-Addo who gave a very touching speech at the grounds.
It was a sad scene seeing his lifeless body laid in state and the who Mankessim community could not hols their tears as they paid their last respect.
