Prophetess Adelaide Nkrumah is the name of the woman whose 4 children got burnt at Amasaman in a gory fire incident at their place of residence. The eldest is aged 15 years, the rest; 13, 9, and 7 years old. The youngest of them who is a year and 7 months old was with her when the incident occured.
Her husband who was facing hardships with regards to his work, had moved to the village to work and find some money for the children. She narrated that the day of the incidence was a Tuesday and she mostly conduct evening services at her church from 7pm to 9pm.
On the said day, she went for the evening service together with her children and returned with them. She later decided to go for midnight prayers at her church at 12pm and her children decided to join. When she woke up at 11: 30 pm and woke her eldest child up, she said she was too sleepy therefore the Prophetess decided to go alone together with two tenants of the house.
When she was leaving, she made her eldest child lock the door behind her and took the out of the lock and placed it in the room. Since both the mother and children have two separate keys, she tools hers along and that of the children were with them in the room. She disclosed that she has been in ministry for about 7years now.
Whiles they were praying, she saw in a vision that she was in a funeral attire and made her pray intensive. Few minutes on, the son of another tenant came running towards them at the church premises and told her that their house was on fire.
She immediately run to the house and saw just as the guy said. There and then they heard two gas explosions from the fire. Nobody could attempt saving her children from the house because of the nature of the incident, until personnel from the Fire Service arrived.
As she was weeping uncontrollably, the Police announced to her that all 4 of her children were dead. The children were buried yesterday. She said she now staying with a church member in an uncompleted building in the area. She ended by saying that we should not criticize her that after all work she has been doing for God, she has lost her children.
We should be encouraged that as beleivers things like these do happened to us, using Job in the Bible as an example, but in the end, God will glorify himself. She then asked for forgiveness for all those who were spreading false rumours and thanked the public for the support.
