NOTICE TO ALL LEVEL 100s (2ND OCTOBER 2020)
Good evening everyone, hope you are all good. From the Office of the Vice-Principal, ALL LEVEL 100s are to pay their exams fee of GHC 400.00 into the College’s account using the GCB Bank Transflow or by Draft. Concerning arrangement for the rewrite of I. As and exams as well as Resits, the following are the guidelines:
1. Students that have chosen to rewrite the I.As thus between October 12th and October 16th, will be ACCOMMODATED on campus but will NOT BE FED. Only students who have paid their exams fee of GHC 400 in full will have access to their second-semester grades.
2. Students that have chosen to write the end of semester exams thus between October 19th and October 27th, will be ACCOMMODATED AND FED.
3. Students that are to re-sit for the first-semester examination, thus between October 28th and October 30th will also be accommodated but will NOT BE FED. Re-sit students are to note that each paper costs GHC 100, and should be paid into the College’s account using GCB Transflow or by Bank Draft.
4. Students may start moving in from 11th October 2020.
Teacher trainees from the 46 public colleges of education in Ghana are scheduled to resume school on Monday 16th March 2020 to start the second semester for the 2019/2020 Academic year, but due to the outbreak of covid-19 which has compelled the president of the Republic of Ghana, H.E.Nana Akufo- Addo to close down all educational institutions across the country.
Dr.Emmanuel Nyameke, PRINCOF National President has advised Student-Teachers to participate in virtual learning which started on 27th April 2020.
In-service training for Tutors.
1,842t tutors from the 46 public colleges of education and other relevant stakeholders have started an online certificate course organized by Admsterdam University of Applied Sciences. The purpose of the course is to equip the tutors with the requisite skills and expertise needed to deliver teaching and learning online effectively.
