Nurses Training Reopening Date For Continuing Students

In compliance with the various protocols outlined by the president to reduce the spread of the deadly coronavirus, continuing students in the various Nurses Training Colleges in Ghana are to reopen school on the 14th of September, 2020 to complete the remaining semester.

According to the directives outlined by the president, students and lecturers of the various health training institution are to strictly adhere to the precautionary measures which include avoidance of mass gathering and sporting activities.

Each student will be supplied with at least two reusable nose mask and one hand sanitizer. Management of the various Nurses training institution are entreated to have a routine screening of each student to detect any student in the early stage of the Coronavirus for early isolation and treatment.

The ministry has scheduled a fumigation exercise to disinfect all nurses training school before the arrival of students on campus.

Academic Calendar For The Remaining Semester – MoH

Completion of the remaining semester – 14th September to 26th October, 2020.
2021 Academic year (1st Sem) – 15th January to 9th May, 2021
Vacation practicum/Affiliation – 10th May to 31st July, 2021
2021 Academic year ( 2nd Sem) – 6th August to 27th November 2021
Vacation practicum – 29th to 9th January 2022.
