Celebrated Ghanaian star actress, Nana Ama McBrown has starred in an American film titled ‘coming to Africa’.
The movie, written and directed by American filmmaker Anwar Jamison, had parts shot in Accra and parts in Memphis.
The movie is set around a privileged black American (Jamison) who refuses to advocate black consciousness because his life is fairly comfortable, and also because he is chasing success in corporate life.
His perspectives however change after an adventurous visit to Ghana in which he meets Akosua (McBrown), and redefines his life purpose.
The movie, initially scheduled to be released earlier in the year, had to be rescheduled to October because of COVID-19 restrictions.
