To mark her daughter Maxine’s birthday, the actress built a 100-seater canteen/assembly hall for the Ashan Children’s Village in the Ashanti Region. She also gave the orphanage a TV and stocked up refrigerator as well provisions.
And she has done it again! Saturday, August 15 was her 43rd birthday and Nana Ama chose to celebrate it with three veteran actors to whom she donated $5,000.

The veterans are Grace Nortey, Grace Omaboe also known as Maame Dokono and Emmanuel Armah. Nana Ama McBrown, who is also the host of United Showbiz on UTV gave Grace Nortey and Maame Dokono $2,000 and presented $1,000 to Emmanuel Armah.

She also gave them assorted items from brands she represents such as refrigerators and other appliances, drinks, water, biscuits among others.
It was an emotional scene at the residence of Emmanuel Armah – who coincidentally shared the same birthday with Nana Ama – as he shed tears at the gesture. The plight of the actor, who is recovering from a stroke, has come to the public’s attention after several industry players paid him visits.

All the veterans expressed gratitude to Nana Ama, who made the rounds with her husband, Maxwell Mensah and daughter Maxine as well as her friends.
The celebrations were climaxed on United Showbizlater in the day with the actress being surprised with several presents by her admirers.
