The president of Ghana Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo drops another good news for all landlords and tenants in Ghana as reports indicated that there is going to be another extension on the free water and electricity for another three months.
It is a very good news for all Ghanaians as the president has again showed us a totally different act of love and this was reported by one of Ghana’s verified and respected news platform Daily Graphic(graphic dot com).
All Ghanaians will enjoy another three months of free water and electricity supply. The move by the government is to further reduce the difficulty of the COVID-19 pandemic on the citizenry and the free water initiative would be for all water consumers while the electricity supply would be limited to only lifeline consumers.
According to a report by the Daily Graphic(graphic.com), the government has plans to extend the utility freebies by three more months making a total of six months.

However, it well known to all Ghanaians that election year is always full of surprises and this is another surprise from the Ghanaian government led by Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo. Although nobody expected this kind of support from the government and it may likely boost the support of the current ruling party NPP.
“Utility consumers are to enjoy free water and electricity supplies for the next three months”, graphic online reported.
The platform which is one of the most respected news outlets stated that, the measure will be announced by the finance minister in his mid-year budget review.
Although this is not yet verified because the finance minister is yet to give a formal announcement to this report but it is more likely to be what will later happen during the minister’s review.
They further added that, the said extension will see the entire populace enjoying free water whilst the free electricity will only cover lifeline consumers.
