Nurses And Trained Teachers Allowance To Be Paid Soon – NAPO

Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the Education Minister of Ghana, Member of Parliament for Manhyia Constituency in the Ashanti Region of Ghana has made it clear to teachers and Nurses Trainees who will be resuming on 15th June 2020 for their final year exams will receive their allowance as soon as possible.

The Education Minister and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Students’ Loan Trust Fund, Nana Kwaku Agyei said that allowances are going to be disbursed ‘soon’.

The governments have considered paying the allowances despite the fact that Trainees were home during the fight of the COVID-19 pandemic.

All allowances were held by the government during the restrictions to close all public and private schools in the country.

“We want to state categorically that, allowances for Trainees will be available immediately as possible when students resume schooling” He stated.

As usual, allowances will be paid through the Students’ Loan Trust Fund as they disburse the allowances into your E-ZWICH accounts.

“We would like to use this medium to inform all students to observe the stated protocols by the Government to fight the enemy COVID-19. Wear your face mask when going for lectures, regularly use of the alcohol-based sanitizers, wash your hands regularly under running water and observe social distancing to avoid the spread of the virus on campus and also to Stay safe COVID-19 is real” He added.
