The former President and Presidential candidate of the opposition National Democratic Congress presented these food items to selected households in the area to help them deal with the hardships brought about by the ongoing crisis.
Mahama took to social media to share photos from the exercise, which occurred on Sunday May 10th.
He wrote: “Yesterday, Sunday, I visited some communities in Sukura and Nima to share food items to households to help in cushioning them as they readjust to life following the loss of their livelihoods as a result of COVID-19.
“You can also do something to assist. Let’s do it together.”
