Stay Safe!: Colleges Of Education Second Semester Goes Online -Details

Public Colleges of Education affiliated to the 5 Public Universities are expected to undertake the course work of their Second Semester of the academic year online.This shall be accompanied with an online assessment. All Colleges of Education affiliated to Universities, including the University of Ghana are expected to begin the course work of their Second Semester of the academic online and assessment conducted as such.

In addition to this, some colleges have already started their online learning by using the app called “ZOOM” which every lecture comes with a code or ID. One cannot access the lecture when the code expires.

With other colleges, students are to acquire active mobile devices with telegram app to start the online lessons, assignments will be given during the lesson starting from next week.The students have also been informed that they shall use their course group WhatsApp platforms and be assigned, course tutors.Course outlines are expected to be out by Monday,, March 30, 2020.

This came as the directives of the President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo on 15th March, 2020 and subsequent closure of educational institutions, for which reason trainees could not report to commence the second semester.
